The Queen's Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine will be closing for the Holidays on Tuesday 2019 December 24th at 12:00 EST.

We will be reopening on Thursday 2020 January 02 at 08:00

As of this morning (Oct 29) the Department's old website landing page is now forwarding to this, our new website.  It is more compliant with accessibility standards, better suited for mobile platforms, and falls in line with University and Faculty guidelines.

In addition the new domain name of "" is more intuitive than our older "" from back in 1992 when we first created a website.

Dr. Lina Chen OAP Award

Dr. Lina Chen was awarded with First Place Poster Presentation at Ontario Association of Pathologists (OAP) meeting this month in Alliston Ontario.

Congrats Lina!!!


Elina Cook, Michael Luo and Christina Ferrone all received travel awards to attend and present at the Canadian Conference on Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (CCMDS-AML) in Vancouver, Sept. 20-21.

Elina and Michael were respectively awarded Gold and Silver for the Carolyne Delage Young Investigator Award and their work was featured as the sole trainee oral (co-)presentation at the conference.
