Former DPMM PhD student and now Professor at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center at the University of Washington Dr. Taranjit Gujral has just published in Nature Biotechnology a paper entitled “Comprehensive profiling of clinical approved kinase inhibitors reveals mutation-specific inhibitors and opportunities for drug repurposing”. This study provides us with a powerful resource to identify approved drugs to target oncogenic kinases in cancer. Taran has also generated a user-friendly web site called KIRHub that allows us to profile kinases and select effective inhibitors (https://kirhub.fredhutch.org/). Taran is also recruiting post-docs if you’re looking! https://research.fredhutch.org/gujral/en.html
The Gujral Lab is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to advance precision oncology through systems biology approaches that integrate functional screening, genomics, and computational modeling.
