The Department is seeking applications for Teaching Assistants for the academic year 2022-2023. The initial round of application deadline is Wednesday June 28th at noon EDT. (Late applications will be considered after the first deadline in subsequent rounds.) Graduate Students, please consult with your Supervisors as their consent is required. These are paid positions.
4th year Undergraduate Students are also being considered for PATH120 and PATH310. These two courses especially will hire TA's as determined by enrolment numbers, which may not be available until later in the summer.

Path411 - Applied Data Science in Molecular Medicine - 2022 Fall term. Preferred candidates must be currently enrolled in a University program. Previous experience as a TA is an asset, but not required. Preference will be given to those with previous programming experience, graduate or professional program students, but undergraduate students meeting the requirements are also eligible. Running TA Office hours/tutorials as required.

Path425 - Current Topics in Human Genetics - 2022 Fall term.
This course is designed to cover recent advances in genetics and the impact on human health and disease. The structure of the course is geared toward the learner with aspects similar to a graduate level course with the use of team-based learning. The course also aims to develop presentation skills and scientific writing. Most sessions are comprised of an expert in the field introducing the background of the topic, a group learning session and then student lead presentations to stimulate class discussion with their peers on the related topic.
Previous experience as a TA is an asset, but not required. Preference will be given to graduate, post-doctoral or professional program students, but undergraduate students are also eligible.
