Hematopathology

Hematopathology is a discipline which blends the laboratory diagnosis of hematologic disorders with clinical hematology.  Close interactions and ongoing dialogue with the clinical services is a key component of this specialty.  The Division performs considerable teaching to undergraduates, graduates and residents.  A significant research program in Hemostasis is lead by David Lillicrap.  The Hematopathology service encompasses a wide variety of laboratory practice including:

  • Diagnostic Morphology
  • Transfusion Medicine
  • Flow Cytometry
  • Hemostasis
