Face coverings on campus now mandatory

In accordance with KFL&A Public Health it is now mandatory for all Queen's employees and students currently on campus to wear a face covering in all public areas. Read full update at

Richardson Lab scheduled Power Outage

This is a reminder of the Richardson Laboratory/Etherington Hall shutdown on Tuesday, July 21st at 4:30.  

This shutdown will last for one hour while a generator is hooked up to power the building. 

Each laboratory should designate one individual with the responsibility of entering the building to ensure their freezers and required equipment are up and running with the generator. 

Masks now mandatory in indoor public settings in KFL&A

Kingston’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kieran Moore has issued a public health order making masks mandatory inside any indoor public setting. Mayor Bryan Paterson issued the announcement on YouTube on Friday, Jun 26, 2020. 

“That means masks will be required for going into grocery stores, retail stores, restaurants, hair and nail salons, as well as community centres, houses of worship, libraries and inside buses and taxis,” the Mayor said.
